Arnold Ishimwe

Arnold Ishimwe is what we like to call a musical chameleon. With experience spanning over a decade, Arnold is continuing to cultivate the skills and repertoire that expands beyond any box you could put him in. Arnold is no stranger to the stage, having worked with a number of Toronto natives like Karen Burke, Campus Rush, and Christopher Samuels, as well as having sung background for the likes of Rich Tolbert, Timothy Reddick, Maryanne George and many more. In addition to live performance, Arnold’s studio work covers various genres, from gospel recording artist Kailah Beckford to world renowned pop group Valley. He’s also done vocal production on a number of projects.

Along with vocal performance, Arnold is a masterful wordsmith and song writer. His pen doesn’t cater to any one genre in particular, as his ambition is to be able to write in any one. From hymnals and  broadway story telling, to upbeat summer bops and romantic ballads, even spoken words, there isn’t a space that his pen will shy away from. 

In 2023, Arnold made his debut as an artist with what he calls “String Sessions”, a body of work comprising of both original music as well as medleys of cover songs. You can find “String Sessions” on his YouTube channel.

When he’s not participating in writing camps, or producing vocals for other recording artists, Arnold can be found serving his local church in their creative department.
